What is Hoksbergen Companies? - Hoksbergen Companies is a group of companies that were established to meet the needs of  various agricultural industries.  They are owned and operated by John and Betty Hoksbergen and their family.  Hoksbergen Companies is comprised of Hoksbergen Hay 1999, LLC., and Cascade Commodities Inc.  We are proud to be one of the largest Alfalfa Hay and Wheat Straw suppliers in the Pacific Northwest.  Our main location is based in Lynden, Washington.  However, we have an office and truck yard in Sunnyside Washington.  We also have two other truck yards based in Othello and Coulee City Washington. 

 A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF EACH COMPANY

Hoksbergen Hay 1999, LLC. - Hoksbergen Hay 1999, LLC. (previously known as Hoksbergen Hay Co.) was created by Lewis and Bertha Hoksbergen in 1948.  As a family owned business we are responsible for purchasing alfalfa hay from Eastern Washington, Eastern Oregon, and Idaho. The hay is then sold and delivered to dairy farmers throughout Washington and British Columbia.

Cascade Commodities Inc. - Cascade Commodities Inc. could be considered the "mother" company of CCI Transport Inc. This company was formed by John and Betty Hoksbergen in the early 80's as a wheat straw brokerage company.  Through Cascade Commodities we are able to purchase all of our straw in the summer, and put it up in stacks to be transported throughout the rest of the year.
